Alexa, please do the laundry. Haha, if only! I always tell my clients that we should start with designing the most stressful places in their homes. On this list of most chaotic rooms, laundry rooms are often at the top. In honor of spring cleaning, I am sharing my secret tips to make your laundry room beautiful ✨
1. Make Your Laundry Room Bright
I know my Momma clients spend a great deal of time in the laundry room. So, this is the room I incorporate bright and cheery colors to lift their moods while they wash, dry and fold. 2. Select Shelving That Adds to the Space
Open shelving here is my favorite ? It is so fun to have sweet, little spaces to style with cute plants and small decor. It’s the little things in life that can add fun to the mundane. You can tend plants easily here with another one of our favorite native stone sinks. Source
3. Find Functional Furniture
If custom cabinetry is not in the budget, I love to use fun pieces of furniture for function and beauty in the laundry room. Whether furniture pieces are new or not, they can add a casual yet charming touch to any sized space ?

4. Incorporate Beautiful Lighting
My last secret, is no secret… I love to incorporate pretty lighting in every room. Even the laundry room! In fact, this is a space in your home to have fun with your lighting selections. If you have to turn on the lights at 6 a.m. to find that missing sock, the light fixture might as well bring you joy ☺️ Source
