We start our relationship off with an initial in-home consultation. Together, we create a personalized service plan adapted from your project needs. Services are simply billed out at an affordable hourly rate and merchandise is never marked up. Never. The goal is to get you the very most possible with your hard earned money. Eleven chaotic years ago, beautiful things happened. Sarah started doing the interior design for her family's contracting company AND her & Jayme's first baby was born. As life as a momma began, so did a CRAZY passion for creating beautiful spaces. Sarah decided to "shelf" the plans of becoming a marriage & family counselor (though that education does come into play with some client situations ;)) and jump feet first into every kind of home improvement project. Through eight years of learning the family trade, she realized her designing and remodeling genes were indeed inherited. She loved all aspects, including the final touch of styling.
As any chaotic story goes, it's not always rainbows and butterflies. Sarah and Jayme had more babies and life got very real when their third, and only daughter, was born. Their sweet baby girl went through two years of chronic illness that required Sarah to be nothing other than momma & wife during that time. It was a time of seclusion to home as to avoid triggers that would make their baby girl very sick. This is when Sarah truly realized how important HOME truly was.
She found out how badly she wanted her own home to be a beautiful refuge AND functional for real life.
After their daughter gained health, one more baby was added to the Martin brood. The family dynamics had returned to a new normal...chaos...beautiful chaos!! It was then that allowed Sarah to continue on with her passion. But, it was very different this time. Starting Beautiful Chaos® meant so much more than creating beautiful spaces...

From coordinating client photoshoots, designing this website, sending out the newsletter and managing social media, Josie is your go-to girl for content + collabs. On days off from the Chaos, Josie enjoys hiking, skiing and traveling the world. She's originally from Orono, Minnesota, and has two degrees in journalism and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Our gal Kate comes to the Beautiful Chaos® fam with many multifaceted talents! Kate helps lead the office organizational efforts to help minimize the ‘chaos’ and maximize the ‘beautiful.’
Her past years of experience wrangling (teaching!) thousands of secondary & elementary students as well as working in small businesses to help create streamlined processes as an operations manager and financial analyst in accounting, means she is ready for anything. She says she feels a bit like an elf at Christmas when she gets to help ensure the customer materials and selections process goes smoothly from start to finish which includes seeing all the beautiful things!
The most rewarding part of the process for her has been building relationships (friendships!) and helping the team achieve their goals. In addition to this, she has lived through the Beautiful Chaos renovation process in her own home, giving us insight into the overall process from your perspective. Outside of the chaos, she enjoys being active outdoors, especially if that includes her two pups and hubby!
